oline County, further time to complete his Collec-
tions.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time limited by law within which William
Delahay, late sheriff of Caroline county, shall have made
his collections, be and the same is hereby extended to
the first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and
fifty-three.

An act for the relief of William J. Leonard, of Wor-
cester County.
|

1850.

|
WHEREAS, Isaac Mills, late of the State of Delaware,
removed into this State, bringing with him a certain
negro woman, and failed, within the time prescribed by
law, after the removal of the said negro into this State, to
comply with the acts of Assembly, of eighteen hundred
and thirty-three, chapter eighty-seven, in such case
made and provided; and whereas, the said Mills after-
wards sold the said negro to William J. Leonard —
Therefore,

Preamble.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That, after the passage of this act, any defect in the ti-
tle of the said William J. Leonard, in and to said negro,
by reason of the failure of the said Mills to comply with
the acts of Assembly in such case made and provided,
is hereby cured, and the title of the said William J.
Leonard, in and to said negro, is hereby confirmed;

Made valid.

provided, the said William J. Leonard shall, within
thirty days after the passage of thin act, comply with all
the stipulations of the said act of Assembly, and not
otherwise.
