RESOLUTIONS.

No. 50.

1847.

Resolution in favor of David Devilbiss.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State pay to David Devilbiss, of
Frederick county, the sum of twenty-one dollars and
forty-eight cents, it being the amount of State tax paid
by him in error, for years eighteen hundred and for-
ty-three, eighteen hundred and forty-four and eighteen
hundred and forty-five, in said county.

Resolution in favor of the officers of the House of Dele-

gates.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State is hereby authorised and di-
rected to pay to Eli Duvall the sum of eight dollars, to
John W. Rider the sum of twenty-four dollars, to
William W. Pattison the sum of twenty-eight dollars,
to John T. Jackson the sum of nineteen dollars, to Wil-
liam Galloway the sum of twelve dollars, to William. H.
Gootee the sum of nineteen dollars, to William Cline the
sum of twenty dollars, to Joseph M. Ebberts the sum
of fifteen dollars, to Woolman J. Gibson the sum of fif-
teen dollars, to Joseph N. Gordon Jr. the sum of sixteen
dollars, being the usual amount of itinerant charges of
the members of the Legislature.

March 4, 1848.

Resolution appointing Directors in the Baltimore and
Susquehanna Rail Road Company.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Coleman Yellott, Samuel H. Tagart, Walter Farnandis,
Joseph Si nuns and Joshua F. Cockey, be and they are
hereby appointed directors in the Baltimore and Sus-
quehanna Rail Road company, on the part of this
State.
