Resolution in favor of the Attorney General.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of this State be and he is hereby directed
to pay to George R. Richardson, Attorney General of
Maryland, such reasonable compensation as the Gover-
nor in his discretion may allow for the trial of the case
of Passmore McCullough against the State, referred to
arbitrators by an act of the last General Assembly, chap-
ter three hundred and forty-seven, and who by the third
and fourth sections of said act was directed to attend to
said case.

Resolutions relative to the State Library.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the State Librarian be and he is hereby directed to have
bound in a suitable manner, such books as the commit-
tee on the Library may designate, and that the bills for
the same be paid by the order of the Governor on the
Treasurer, out of any unappropriated moneys in the
treasury.
Resolved also, That the Librarian be authorised to
have the floor of the Library thoroughly repaired, and to
procure a new oil cloth covering for it, and that the trea-
surer pay the bills for the same on the order of the Go-
vernor, out of any unappropriated money in the treasury.
Resolved, That the Librarian be and he is hereby
directed to forward with the laws and so forth, already
required to be furnished to the several counties of this
State, two copies of the Maryland Digest, for the use of
each county, one of which shall be deposited in the
clerk's office and the other in the Register of Wills'
office of each county.
