LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 282.

Lusby and John Gray, thence with the division line be-
tween said Gray and Richard S. Thomas, thence with
the division line between R. S. Thomas and Colonel
Joseph Wickes until it intersects the main road leading to
Worton Heights, thence by and with said road to the
division line between Mrs. Mary Thomas and the pro-
perty of the late Richard Graves, thence with said divi-
sion line until it reaches the land of William Stevens,
thence with the division line between Mrs. Thomas and
William Stevens until it intersects the main road at Witch-
coats run, thence by and with said main road to Belle-Air,
thence with the main road to the line between the land of
Colonel Wickes and James Brown, thence with the divi-
sion line between Colonel Wickes and James Brown and
thence with the division line between Bullen and Appleton,
thence with the division line between Emory Sudler and
Edwin R. Carville, thence with the division line between
E. Sudler and John F. Ringgold, thence with the division
line between J. T. Freeman and Emory Sudler, thence
with the division line between J. T. Freeman and the
heirs of Duncan Stone until it intersects the main road,
thence by and with said road to Perkins' mill the place
of beginning.

Inhabitants to
elect trustees
— their duties.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the taxable inhabitants
within the limits of said district, shall meet as soon as
practicable after the passage of this act in some conve-
nient place in said district, of which proper notice shall
be given, and elect five trustees to manage the concerns
of said school district, and who shall have all the powers
and privileges, and perform all the duties now required
of trustees of similar schools, and that all laws relating to
primary schools in Kent county shall be applicable to
said school; provided, that no tax shall be laid upon the
inhabitants of said district to erect a school house.

Levy directed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the levy court be
empowered and required to levy upon the assessable pro-
perty of Kent county, as now required by law, one hun-
dred and fifty dollars annually, for the benefit of said
school.

An act to incorporate the Baltimore Mining Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
