An act to allow William Delahay, present sheriff of Caro-
line county, further time to complete the collections of
John Jump, of P., late sheriff of said county, deceas-
ed.
|
|
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, John Jump, of P., late sheriff of Caro-
line county has departed this life, leaving uncollected
various officers fees, fines, forfeitures and so forth, placed
in his hands for collection, as also fees clue to himself as
sheriff — Therefore,
|
|
|
Authorised
to collect.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland. That William Delahay, present sheriff of
Caroline county, be and he is hereby allowed further
time to collect all fees which were in the hands of and
due to the said John Jump, of P., and which remain un-
collected, in the same manner as the said John Jump, of
P., could or might have done within the time allowed
by law.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
be and remain in full force for, two years from and after
the passage of this act.

An act to incorporate the Allegany Wool Growing Com-
pany.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Forrest Shepherd, Archibald Carey,
Charles B. Thruston, Joseph Dilley and Norman Bruce
are hereby appointed commissioners for receiving sub-
scriptions to the capital stock of the company herein-
after incorporated, to be called the Allegany Wool
Growing Company, which subscriptions may he made
either in person or by power of attorney, and notice
shall be given in such manner as may be deemed advi-
sable by the said commissioners, or a majority of them,
of the time and place of opening the books.
