CHAP. 184.

CHAPTER 182.
An act to allow William Dellinger, former collector of
State and county taxes, in Washington county, further
time to complete his collections.

Empowered to
collect.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William Dellinger, former collector of
State takes for the year eighteen hundred and forty-one,
and State and county taxes for eighteen hundred and
forty-two, in Washington county, be and he is hereby
authorised to collect any and all taxes or balances of

taxes due to him and now remaining unpaid for the sev-
enal years in which he was collector as aforesaid in said
county, in the same manner and with the same privi-
leges and powers be could or might have done within

the time limited by law.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect and be in force from the date of its passage.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall con-
tinue and be in force, until the first day of May, eigh-
teen hundred and forty-nine.

CHAPTER 183.

Passed
March 6, 1848.

An act to allow John B. Peyton of Calvert county, to

bring into this State, a certain negro slave.

Bring slave
into this State.

Proviso.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John B. Peyton, of Calvert county, be and he is
hereby authorised to bring into this State a certain ne-
gro slave; provided, he shall in all respects comply with
the requisitions of the several acts upon the subject of
slaves.

CHAPTER 184.

An act to change the days for holding the Orphans Court
of Prince George's county.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
