LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 72.

divide the real estate of William Tull, late of said county,
deceased, and the proceedings had under the same, that
the commission was executed with due regard to equity
and in compliance with the wishes of all the parties con-
cerned, but not strictly in compliance with the provisions
of the act of Assembly of Maryland, passed December
session, eighteen hundred and twenty, chapter one hun-
dred and ninety-one, which provides, that the estate shall
be divided among all the parties; and in older to heal
the defect and make valid and legal the proceedings had
by the commissioners in the above recited case — There-
fore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the proceedings had, and acts done by
the commissioners appointed by Worcester county court,
to divide the real estate of William Tull, late of said
county, deceased, be, and the same shall be submitted to
the judges of Worcester county court, or a majority of
them, who, if in their judgment upon a hearing of the
case thus submitted, think it would be to the interest of
the parties concerned, that the proceedings had, and acts
done by said commissioners should be made valid, then
they are hereby authorised and empowered, to pass such


order of confirmation as they may think requisite to
make valid said proceedings had by said commissioners
as, aforesaid, and said order of confirmation, when so
passed and entered of record as in other similar cases,

Shall be bind-
ing, &c.

shall be as binding upon all parlies concerned, as if the
same had been done in compliance with the act of As-
sembly of Maryland, of December session, eighteen hun-
dred and twenty, chapter one hundred and ninety-one.

Time allowed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Ebenezer
Bishop, husband of Sarah Bishop, one of the heirs of
the said William Tull, be allowed until the first day of
January, eighteen hundred and forty-eight, to comply
with the provisions of said commissioners, or such fur-
ther time as the said court in their discretion may deem
proper.
