PRIVATE BURYING GROUND— Act to provide

for removal of, in the city of Baltimore,

PROMISSORY NOTES, BILLS OF EXCHANGE,

&c. — All mortgages, releases, bills of

gale, and all such deeds as are now re-

quired to be recorded, &c., without be-

ing first stamped under the act of 1845,

chapter 193, shall be valid as if they

were so stamped; provided, that

when any of said instruments are

presented to clerk to be recorded, the

duty chargeable to be paid, which the

clerk is required to receive and endorse

receipt therefor, &c., receipt to be re-

corded with instrument, &c., all sums

so received to be paid over by clerk to

treasurer as required by the 9th section

of the act of 1844, chapter 280, said

instruments not valid unless the duty is

paid, &c.,

tofore recorded, declared valid as if the

same had been so stamped, if the duty

chargeable shall have been paid at the

time of recording, or within six months
