CHAP. 46.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all such parts of the
first section of the original act as may be inconsistent
with, or repugnant to, the provisions of this act be and
they are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 45.

Commission-
ers to grant.

An act for the benefit of John S. Skinner.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of insolvent debtors for the city
and county of Baltimore, or any justice of the orphans
court of any county, or judge of any court in this State,
authorised to grunt discharges under the insolvent laws
now in force be, and they are hereby authorised to grant
unto John S. Skinner, a former resident of Maryland, the
benefit of the several acts of the Assembly for the relief of
insolvent debtors; provided, the said John S. Skinner
shall comply with all the other requisites of said act,
except that of residence in this State, and shall make
oath, or otherwise satisfy the said commissioners, or any
justice of the orphans court, or judge of this State, be-
fore whom his application may be made, that he did not
come into this State with the view of obtaining the bene-
fit of said laws.

CHAPTER 46.

11, 1846.

Same right.

A further supplement to the act of December session, eigh-
teen hundred and forty-five, chapter fifty-eight.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Nicholas Shilling, acting executor of
the last will and testament of Murray Shilling, one of the
persons named in said original act, and who has died
since the passage of said act, shall have the same powers
and rights in every respect as were secured to said Mur-
ray Shilling, with the other persons therein named by
said act.

To appoint
one or more

agents.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said John McCol-
lum, David Keefer, Nicholas Shilling, acting executor of
Murray Shilling, Michael Sullivan and John Henry
Hoppe be, and they are hereby authorised and empow-
ered to appoint one or more agents for the collection of
