FOREIGN CORPORATIONS & AGENCIES—

for the said $3, &c., principal of agent

and property also liable for said tax, &c.

On failure to give bond, &c., or after
giving bond, shall fail to return to treasu-

rer list of premiums, &c., as required by

3rd section, then the treasurer within 30

days after license, in case of failure, to

sue bond, and within 30 days itfter said

failure to make return, &c., to publish
name of said agent so failing, in two

newspapers in Baltimore, publication tg
declare license of agent forfeited; and

all policies made by such agent null;

publication to work forfeiture of said li-

cense, &c., new bond to be given every

year, in case said agent take out license

for more than a single year.

If any person acting as agent, shall

effect insurance, or offer to effect or re-

ceive or transmit offers, or receive or de-
liver polices, &c., as aforesaid, without

license, &c., to forfeit and pay for each

offence $3, one-half to informer, who is

a competent witness, the other to the
clerk of the county, &c., to be recovered

by action of debt or indictment, to be

paid into treasury by clerk receiving,

&c., at the time limited, &c.
