CHAP. 296.

toinette is desirous of having the control and manage-
ment of her own property; and whereas, the said An-
toinette Williams has petitioned the Legislature that the
said property shall be entirely absolved and discharged
from the trust aforesaid, so far as the necessity for a
trustee to manage and dispose of the property under
said deed is concerned, which petition has been executed
by the said Antoinette, in the same forms of law which
are necessary for i'emmes covert to lesort to, for the pur-
pose of conveying their estates — Therefore,

Annulled.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said deed of trust, dated on ihe eleventh day of
June, in the year eighteen hundred and forty-four, and
executed as aforesaid be, and the same is hereby hence-
forth annulled, and the said Antoinette Williams be, and
she is hereby authorised henceforth to treat and dispose
of said properly ns though she were a femme sole, sub-
ject to all the limitations and restrictions and reserva-
tions of the aforesaid deed of trust, except as to the ne-
cessity of a trustee.

CHAPTER 296.

A further supplement to an act entitled, on act for the
protection of Mechanics and others in Allegany
County, passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and forty-one, chapter seventy-six.

red.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all repairs done to dwelling houses,
mills or other buildings, in Allegany county, and for all
machinery hereafter placed in, and used in any building
already erected in said county, and for materials furnished
for such repairs or machinery, the party or parties so
finishing machinery, materials or doing repairs as afore-
said, shall have all the benefits intended to be secured
to mechanics and others, by the original act and its sup-
plements, to which this is a further supplement.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person entitled
to such lien or liens, under the provisions of the original
act, or its supplements, or his act, shall file his, her or
their claim or statement with the clerk of Allegany
county court, within nine months from the time of per-
forming the work, or furnishing the materials or ma-
chinery for such build ing.
