CHAP. 261.

Discharged.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said Thomas I. Bond, John Bond and Uriah F.
Ruby be, and they are hereby released and discharged
from all obligations entered inlo by them with the State
of Maryland, for the maintenance of said illegitimate
child, any law or laws to the contrary notwitstanding.

CHAPTER 260.

Passed March
9, 1847.

An act entitled, an act to locate an additional School in
Election District, Number Three, in Caroline County.

Trustees.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Thomas Staunton, Peter Wright of
Roger, Ennalls Carroll, Abraham Lord and Wright
Hubbard be, and they are hereby appointed trustees to
locate an additional school in district Number Three, at or
near the Old Bloomery Mill, in Caroline county, if in their
judgment, the interests of that portion of said district re-
quire it.

Trustees may
erect school
house.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the trustees appoint-
ed by this act, shall have power and authority to erect, or
cause to be erected, a suitable house for said school, in
the most convenient place to the inhabitants in said dis-
trict, the same to be paid for out of the funds that may
be raised for the support of said school.

Twelve an-
nual subscri-
bed scholars.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That when the said school
shall be fully organised with twelve regular annual sub-
scribed scholars, then said school shall be considered and
taken as one of the located schools of said district, with
all the benefits and privileges of the other located schools
in said district, and the trustees appointed by the first
section of this act, shall have power to fill any vacancy
in their own body that may happen from time to time,
while this act shall continue and be in force.

CHAPTER 261.

9, 1817.

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to provide for the
relief of the poor and indigent persons of Somerset
County, passed at December Session, eighteen hundred
and forty-five, chapter forty-two.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
