THOMAS G. PRATT, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

1846.

May, eighteen hundred and forty, by Henry Klinefelter,
of Cecil county, in the State of Maryland, to William
H. McClaskey, of Harford county, in the State aforesaid,

CHAP. 193.

conveying to the said McClaskey a negro boy named
William Jackson, for a term of years, and acknowledged
before George Moore, one of the State justices of the
peace, in and for the county aforesaid, shall be as good
and valid in law as if the said bill of sale had been exe-
cuted and acknowledged according to the provisions of
the third section of an act of eighteen hundred and se-

venteen, chanter one hundred and twelve; provided ne-
vertheless, said bill of sale be recorded on or before the
first day of June next; and provided further, that the
riphts of third parties shall not in any way be affected
by this act.

CHAPTER 192.

Provisoes.

An act to amend the act passed at December session, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty, chapter one hundred and forty,
entitled, an act to reduce the rate of Inspection of Fish
in the City of Baltimore.

Passed
March 6, 1847.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall be lawful for any inspector of
fish, in the city of Baltimore, to charge for the inspection
of each and every barrel, half-barrel or tierce of shad or
mackerel fish, ten cents; and for each and every barrel,
half-barrel or tierce of herrings, three cents, and no
more.

Rates of In-
spection fixed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the second section
of the act passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty, chapter one hundred and forty be, and the
same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 193.

Repealed.

An act to divorce Louisa M. Peregoy, of Cecil County,
from her husband Nathan W. Peregoy.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Louisa M. Peregoy, of Cecil county be,
