1846.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That in case said turnpike company does make the
excess or turnpike road as afoiesaid, then the commis-
sioners of Baltimore and Harford counties respectively
be, and they are hereby authorised and empowered to
release said company from any and all claims for damages
or expenses heretofore incurred by and accruing to them
for and on account of said bridges and roads, under and
by virtue of any previous acts of Assembly, or from claims
to them due in any other way or manner whatsoever, upon
such terms and in such manner as said turnpike com-
pany, and said commissioners, each for their own county
respectively, may mutually consent and agree.

CHAPTER 181.

An act to incorporate the Trustees of the Parsonage House
of the German Reformed Church in Emmitsburg.

3, 1847.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Joshua Motter, Peter Warenfelt, Jacob
Shover and Jacob Raffensperger, and their successors
be, and are hereby declared to be a body corporation by,
and under the name and title of the Trustees of the Par-
sonage House of the German Reformed Church in Em-
mitsburg, and under such name and title, to hold said
parsonage house and lot, and to have all such other pow-
ers as are or may be necessary to carry into effect this
act.

Incorporated.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said trustees by,
and under their corporate name, shall be authorised to
receive a deed from such person or persons as may now
hold the title to said parsonage house and lot, and shall
hold the same for the use of the several congregations
now composing the charge of the several Associate Ger-
man Reformed Congregations in and near Emmitsburg:
The Emmitsburg German Reformed Congregation, Ap-
ple's Congregation, Jacob's Congregation and the Fair-
field Congregation, and with full powers to sell and con-
vey the same, when authorised so to do by a majority ot
the members composing the said several congregations
voting at any election held for that purpose.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That when any vacancy
shall occur among the members of the trustees by death,
