CHAPTER 87.
An act authorising the Levy Court of Frederick county, in
their discretion, to levy a sum of money to build a bridge
over Catoctin Creek on the old Hagerstown Road.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of said county are hereby
authorised to levy three hundred and fifty dollars on the
assessable property of Frederick county, for building a
bridge over the Catoctin creek in Frederick county,
where the old Hagerstown road crossed said creek, if in
their opinion the public interest requires it to be levied in
two equal annual instalments.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the levy court be, and
they are hereby authorised, if said levy is made, to con-
tract with any person or persons to build said bridge, and
they are hereby required to give it to the lowest respon-
sible bidder, requiring bond or bonds, with sufficient se-
curity from any contractor or contractors for the faithful
performance of the contract, to be taken in the usual
form.

ness in Baltimore County Court.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act the September
term of Baltimore county court shall commence on the
second Monday of September, and the January term of
said court shall commence on the second Monday of
January, instead of the first days of said months respec-
tively, as now provided by law; and that all summons
of jurors, and all other process from said court, shall be
made returnable on the days herein before respectively
named.
