Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That pending the said scire
facias the funds and money now due, or which may here-
after become due by the lottery commissioners on ac-
count of the Frederick Female Seminary, be paid by the
lottery commissioners and their successors in office, to
the joint order of Alexander B. Hanson, Jacob Markell,
Gideon Bantz, David Boyd and Christian Steiner, to be
used by them in payment of the liabilities incurred on
account of said Female Seminary.

commissioners.

An act to allow John R. Baden, late Sheriff of Prince
George's County, further time to make his collec-
tions.

Passed Feb.
4, 1846.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That further time be and is hereby allowed
John R. Baden, late sheriff of Prince George's county, to
complete his collections.

Time extend-
ed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That before the said John
R. Baden shall proceed to collect any account for fees
due him as late sheriff in said county, by virtue of this
act, he shall go before some justice of the peace in said
county, and make oath that said account is just and true,
and that he hath not, nor no one for him, received any
part or parcel, security or satisfaction for the same, more
than is credited thereon.

Make oath.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the further time al-
lowed by this act shall not exceed one year from the pas-
sage thereof.

An act for the benefit of the devisees of Priscilla Stewart,
late of Anne Arundel county, deceased.

WHEREAS, Priscilla Stewart, late of Anne Arundel
county, died, seized of a small piece or parcel of land,
containing about nine acres, part of a tract of land called
Mountville, lying in said county, having by her last will
