The Register of the city of Baltimore shall

the passage of this act, ascertain from the

stock ledger in which is recorded the

stock loans of the city of Baltimore, the

names of present holders and the names

of persons, etc. as were proprietors, etc.

on the 1st July, 1844, and the amount held

by such parties, at the time examination

is made, and on said 1st day of July, etc.

hands for payment of the interest due on

said loans on first day of April, after the

passage of this act, the tax which became

due, etc. for 1844, in all cases where the
