1845. RESOLUTIONS.

No. 58.

Passed March
10, 1846.

Resolution in relation to a Light Boat, Buoys &c. in the
Chesapeake Bay.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
our senators and representatives in Congress be request-
ed to use their efforts to obtain an appropriation for
building a Light boat of a suitable size, to be stationed
in the Bodkin Swash at the mouth of the Patapsco river,
on the seven feel knoll, and also an appropriation for
planting three Buoys at the mouth of the Wicomico river,
two on the Great Shoal, and one on Wingates Point.
And be it further resolved, That his excellency the
Governor be requested to forward a copy of the forego-
ing resolution to our senators and representatives in the
Congress of the United States.

Resolution in favor of Joseph E. Muse, Jr. Esq.

Passed March
10, 1846.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of said State is hereby authorised to pay to
Joseph E. Muse Jr. deputy Attorney General, out of any
unappropriated money in the Treasury, the sum of three
hundred and thirteen dollars and fifty cents, for official
services rendered the State at the November term of So-
merset county court, eighteen hundred and forty-four,
under the provisions of the tax law of eighteen hundred
and forty-three, chapter two hundred and eight.

10, 1846.

Resolution in favor of Samuel Whittington, Doorkeeper
of the House of Delegates.

Resolved by the General of Assembly Maryland, That
the Treasurer of Maryland is hereby directed to pay to
Samuel Whittington the doorkeeper of this House, the
sum of twenty-four dollars, recently deducted from his
per diem, by the committee of accounts.
