1845. RESOLUTIONS.

No. 26.

Passed Feb.
21, 1846.

Resolution in favor of the Commissioners of Harford
County, for the use of James Spicer and others.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to the commis-
sioners of Harford county, or order for the use of James
Spicer, Robert S. Morgan, Rhesa Norris, Isaac Stans-
bury and James Whiteford, collectors of county and State
taxes for said county for eighteen hundred and forty-four,
thirty dollars and fifteen cents, which sum was paid by
said collectors to the clerk of Harford county court in
May last for stamp paper on which their official bonds
were given, which bonds were after said payments de-
cided by the Court of Appeals not subject to said tax.

Resolution authorising the Adjutant General to deliver

Captain Samuel Whittington forty rifles, &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Adjutant General be and he is hereby authorised to
deliver to Capt. Samuel Whittington of Calvert county,
forty rifles with their necessary accoutrements; provided,
they are in the armory, and upon his bonding for their
safe keeping and return when required to do so, and
upon his furnishing the Adjutant General evidence of the
organization and uniforming of the company according
to the laws in such case provided.
Resolved, That resolution number forty-eight, passed
December session, eighteen hundred and forty-one, and
resolution number twenty-five, passed December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-two, be and the same are
hereby revoked.

Resolution in favor of Wm. McCullough, former Sheriff
of Cecil County.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
