CHAP. 389.

of taxes now remaining due to and uncollected by him, in
the county aforesaid, in the same manner and with the
same power and privileges as are allowed by existing
laws in said cases made and provided.

In force until
June

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall remain
in full force until the first day of January, eighteen hun-
dred and forty seven, and no longer.

CHAPTER 387.

10, 1846.

An act for the relief of sundry poor persons in the several
counties therein mentioned.

Commission-
ers of Harford
and Talbot to
levy.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Harford and Talbot counties,
be and they are hereby severally authorised, directed and
empowered at their annual meeting, so long as they shall
see cause to assess and levy on the assessable properly
of said counties for the use of the several persons here-
inafter mentioned, any money not exceeding the several
sums annexed to their respective names at their discre-
tion, viz: in Harford county for Joshua Amos, of Wm.,
Isabella Mathews and Elizabeth Green, each thirty dol-
lars; in Talbot county for John Robinson, thirty dollars,
payable to themselves or their orders respectively, or to
each person or persons as the said commissioners may
direct.

CHAPTER 388.

Divorced.

An act to divorce Eliza Jane Bowling from her husband
William Dowling of Prince George's County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Eliza Jane Dowling, be and she is hereby divorced
from her husband William Dowling, a vinculo matrimonii.

Time allowed.

An act to allow Henry P. Geoghegan, late collector of
State taxes of Talbot County, further time to complete his
collections.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
