CHAP. 305.

Continue fifty
years.

Right reserv-

ed.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act of incor-
poration shall continue and exist for fifty years from its
passage, unless the General Assembly of Maryland
should alter, amend or annul it, which right it reserves
to the legislature to exercise at pleasure.

Issues forbid.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act
shall be so taken or construed as to allow the said cor-
poration to issue any note, token and scrip or device, to
be used as a currency.

CHAPTER 304.

Passed Mar.
9, 1846.

An act to build a Bridge over Winter's Run at or near

Hanways' Mill in Harford County.

Commission-
ers appointed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Thomas Bay, Thomas Howard and
Joshua Amos be, and they are hereby appointed com-
missioners to fix upon a site for a bridge over Winters'
run at or near Hanways' mill, and when the said com-
missioners shall agree upon the site, they shall report the
same to the county commissioners.

Authorised to
levy.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of
Harford county be, and they are hereby authorised and
directed in their discretion, if they shall deem the same
necessary, to levy upon the assessable property of said
county at their first annual levy next after the passage of
this act, a sum not exceeding six hundred dollars for the
building of said bridge.

Give public
notice.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duly
of the county commissioners to give public notice by
advertisement in all the newspapers printed in Harford
county, for at least three weeks, inviting proposals for
building said bridge, and shall contract for the same on
the best terms in their judgment for the public interest.

CHAPTER 305.

An act entitled, an act to alter and amend an act in rela-
tion to Primary Schools in Charles County, passed at
the last session, February twelfth, eighteen hundred and
forty-five.

Substitute ten
for eleven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
