deed from Joseph Hughes and Mary his wife, to the said
Semmes, bearing the same date as the last mentioned
deed, and recorded in the same Liber, folios 28 and 29;
the deed from Michael C. Sprigg and Mary his wife, to
the said Semmes, dated on the fifteenth day of February,
in the year aforesaid, and recorded in the same Liber,
folios 29, 30 and 31; the deed from James Hook and
Keziah Hook his wife, to the said Semmes, bearing the

teenth day of April, in the year aforesaid, and recorded

Rezen V. Hook and Mary his wife, and Samuel L. Hook
and Mary his wife, to the said Semmes, dated on the
seventh day of May, in the year aforesaid, and re-
corded in the same Liber, folios 161 and 162; the deed
from Jeremiah Wingert and Mary his wife, John Win-
gert and Eliza his wife, Juliana Wingert, Catharine Win-
gert and Catharine Boose, to the said Semmes, dated on
the fifteenth day of May, in the year aforesaid, and
recorded in the same Liber, folios 177, 178 and 179;
the deed from Hiram B. Wolfe, John Hays, John
Wright, John Blocher, John Oglebay, Valentine A.
Buckey and James Smith, trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal church, in the town of Cumberland, to the
