CHAP. 248.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That said original act is
hereby repealed so far only, as it is inconsistent with the
provisions of this act.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
of Maryland, reserves to itself the right to alter or amend
this act of incorporation at its pleasure.

An act to extend the time to complete, the collections of
John Usilton, former Sheriff and Collector of Kent
County.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That John N. Usilton, of Kent county, execu-
tor of the testament and last will of John Usilton, de-
ceased, of said county, former sheriff and collector for
said county, shall be, and he is hereby allowed till the
first day of August, eighteen hundred and forty-seven, to
complete the collections of the said John Usilton, former
sheriff and collector of said county, and shall and may
exercise all the powers to complete and enforce the said
collections, as the sheriffs and collectors of the counties
in this State now exercise.

Time allowed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said John N.
Usilton, executor of the said John Usilton, deceased,
shall have power to appoint deputy-sheriffs and col-
lectors, to and in completing the said collections, who
shall exercise all the powers, now exercised by deputy-
slieriffs and collectors of this State.
