An act supplementary to an act entitled, an act to change
the commencement of the March term of the Court of
Howard District Court, of Anne Arundel County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act entitled, an act to change the commence-
ment of the March term of the court of Howard District,
of Anne Arundel county, passed at the present session,
shall not operate or take effect until the expiration of the
year eighteen hundred and forty-five.

An act for the benefit of John Usilton, of Kent County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all further proceedings upon a judgment in Kent
county court, rendered at September term, in the year
eighteen hundred and forty-four, in the name of the State
of Maryland, against John Usilton, and his securities, on
his bond, as collector of the direct tax, for the years eigh-
teen hundred and forty-one, and eighteen hundred and for-
ty-two, be suspended until the first day of August next, af-

ter the passage of this act; provided however, the said se-
curities shall file in the clerk's office of said county, their
written assent to the provisions of this act, on or before
the first day of May next; and provided further, that this
State reserves to itself all the remedies against the said
sureties, now held by it, notwithstanding the provisions of
this act.
