CHAPTER 216.

CHAP. 218.

An act to repeal an act therein mentioned.

Passed Feb.
27, 1845.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act passed at December session, eighteen hun-
dred and forty-three, chapter one hundred and twenty-one,
entitled, an act relating to surveys in Queen Anne's
county, be and the same is hereby repealed.

Repealed.

CHAPTER 217.

An act to authorise the sale of certain Real Estate in Saint
Mary's County.

Passed March
6, 1845.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Benedict I. Heard and Henry G. S. Key, executors
of the last will and testament of Joseph Howard, late of
said county, deceased, be and they are hereby authorised
to sell certain real estate mentioned in said will, upon such

terms as they in their judgment may deem best calculated
to protect the interest of the heirs of said deceased; pro-
vided, they shall first file a bond with the register of wills
of said county, in the penalty of one thousand dollars,
conditioned for the faithful performance of their duties as
trustees for said sale.

CHAPTER 218.

 

An act for the benefit of the Infant Children of Alexander
B. Gordon, of the City of Baltimore.

8, 1845.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly,
by the memorial of Alexander B. Gordon, of the city of
Baltimore, that his deceased wife was one of the children
and heirs at law of the late William D. McKim, of the city
of Baltimore, deceased; and also, one of the heirs at law
of the late Isaac McKim, of the city of Baltimore, de-
ceased; and that at the time of her decease, certain por-
tions of the real estate which descended to his heirs at
law, from the said William D. McKim, remained undi-
vided, being held in common by his heirs at law, subject
