Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, said trustees
may and it shall be lawful for them to warrant or sue by
the name or style of the trustees of primary school number
one, two, three, &c, in district number one, two, three,
&c, to the same extent and in the same manner as if they
were a body corporate or politic.

CHAPTER 200.
An act to authorise the commissioners of the tax of Balti-
more and Carroll Counties, to build a bridge over the
Patapsco Falls on the Marriottsville Road.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That if the commissioners of the tax of Balti-
more and Carroll counties, shall deem it necessary and ex-
pedient for the public convenience, (and not otherwise, ) to
build a bridge across the Patapsco Falls, on the Marriotts-
ville road, then and in that case, it shall and may be law-
ful for them to levy upon the assessable property of said
counties, equally and respectively, a sum of money suffici-
ent in their judgments for building and constructing said
bridge, not exceeding twelve hundred dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners
of the tax of the counties aforesaid, are hereby authorised
and required to appoint two commissioners, one from Bal-
timore county and one from Carroll county, who shall su-
perintend the building of said bridge, and shall contract
with a person or persons to build the same, which person
or persons so contracted with, shall give bond to the said
commissioners, so as aforesaid appointed, with good and
sufficient security, to build the said bridge in a good, sub-

stantial and workmanlike manner.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That unless the levy before
mentioned, be made by both counties, by the first day of
June, eighteen hundred and forty-seven, then and in that
case, this act shall expired by its own limitation.
