CHAP. 176.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That the sheriff of Montgo-
mery county be, and he is hereby authorised to make out
and deliver the fees due him, at any time before the first of

Proviso.

May next; provided, no distress or execution shall be le-
vied for the same, unless the said accounts are delivered to
the person from whom the same are due, on or before the
first day of September next, and all fees due to said sheriff
out of the county may be made out and delivered before

to fees, &c.

the first of June next.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act con-
tained shall apply to fees not now required by law to be
placed in the hands of the sheriff of Montgomery county
for collection, on or before the first day of March next.

 

CHAPTER 175.

Passed March
1, 1845.

An additional supplement to an act to provide for the ap-
portionment and expenditure of the School Money in
Montgomery County.

Commission-

treasurer 2 per
cent.

SECTION 1. Be it enabled by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the commissioners of Montgomery coun-
ty, are hereby authorised and required to allow the trea-
surer of the school fund of Montgomery county two per
cent out of the said fund upon the amount of money annu-
ally received by him under the original act, to which this
is an additional supplement, as a compensation for the re-
ceiving, safe keeping and disbursement of said fund.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That so much of the third
section of the act, passed at December session, one thou-
sand eight hundred and forty-one, chapter eighty, as au-
thorises the commissioners to compensate the said treasu-
rer by permitting him to use for a limited time, a part of
said school fund for his own benefit, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

Repealed

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all laws inconsistent
with the provisions of this act, are hereby repealed.

 

CHAPTER 176.

3, 1845.

A further supplement to an act entitled an act to establish a
Bank, and incorporate the subscribers thereto.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, the President and Directors of the Bank of
