If a majority of voters voting at said election shall vote
"For Sunday Motion Pictures", then it shall be lawful for
Motion Pictures to be exhibited under the provisions of
this Act, but if a majority of said voters voting at said
election shall vote "Against Sunday Motion Pictures", then
the exhibition of Motion Pictures on Sunday shall be un-
lawful, on and after June 15, 1953. LAWFUL.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 508
(House Bill 516)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 35 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Evidence",
sub-title "Public Statutes, Office Copies and Official Cer-
tificates", said new section to be known as Section 88A
and to follow immediately after Section 88 of said Arti-
cle, providing that certified copies of books, papers, etc.
of the State Industrial Accident Commission shall be
received as evidence in any court of law or equity or be-
fore any judge, justice of the peace or other tribunal
in this State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 35 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edi-
tion), title "Evidence", sub-title "Public Statutes, Office
Copies and Official Certificates", said new section to be
known as Section 88A and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 88 of said Article, and to read as follows:

88A. A copy or photostat of any books, papers, entries,
records or proceedings pertaining to the State Industrial
