or in part the difference between the amount provided in
the budget by the County Commissioners and the operat-
ing deficit.
SEC. 2. The said Board of Directors shall make provi-
sion for emergency treatment at the Hospital, without
charge, of Prince George's County Volunteer Firemen and
Prince George's County and Municipal Policemen, injured
in line of duty but shall make the usual charge for subse-
quent treatment which may be required.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (a) of Section 381 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition), being
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Prince George's County", sub-title "County
Commissioners", said section having been amended by
Chapter 567 of the Acts of 1951, providing for an
expense account for the presiding officer and four other
members of the Board of County Commissioners of
Prince George's County and providing for the amounts
of said accounts.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (a) of Section 381 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition),
being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-title "County
