circulation in the Town of College Park and shall post in
at least three (3) public places within the territory pro-
posed by this Act to be annexed to the Town of College
Park, a notice of said election. Said advertisement and
posted notices shall notify the residents of said territory
that there will be held on said day at a place designated
therein or at some convenient place in the Town of College
Park between the hours of one o'clock P. M. and nine
o'clock P. M., an election to determine whether or not said
residents desire the territory described in this Act to be
annexed to the Town of College Park. The said Mayor
and Common Council shall provide a polling place, ballot
boxes, booths and ballots for said election, the costs thereof
to be paid by the Town of College Park, which is hereby
authorized to pay the same. The said ballots shall contain
the words "For Annexation to the Town of College Park"
on one line and "Against Annexation to the Town of Col-
lege Park" on another line, with a square opposite each.
Except as required otherwise by this Act, said election
shall be conducted, as nearly as practicable in the same
manner as elections for municipal officers of the Town of
College Park. Said committee shall appoint two (2) judges
and two (2) clerks who shall conduct said election. The
said judges and clerks, before undertaking to perform the
duties of their office, shall subscribe to the same oath as is
now administered for judges and clerks in elections of
municipal officers of the Town of College Park.

The Mayor and Common Council of College Park shall,
prior to the municipal election to be held in May, 1953,
appoint registration officers and provide for the registra-
tion of voters in the territory proposed by this Act to be
annexed to the Town of College Park, on April 18, 1953,
between the hours of one o'clock P. M. and nine o'clock
P. M., in accordance with the law providing for the regis-
tration of voters in the Town of College Park.

All persons over the age of twenty-one (21) years who
actually reside on the date of said election within the
territory proposed to be annexed to the Town of College
Park by this Act shall be eligible to vote at said election.
The said judges, or any of them, before permitting any
person to vote at said election, shall administer to such
person an oath to tell the truth, the whole truth and
nothing but the truth with reference to any question said
judges may then ask concerning the qualifications of such
person as a voter in said election, and shall examine each
of said persons, and any such person who does not qualify
under the terms of this section, shall be refused the right
to vote.
