said Attorney to be paid in equal quarterly installments by
the County Commissioners of Wicomico County; provided,
however, that in the event of special elections or special
services rendered the said County Commissioners shall,
at the request and recommendation of the Supervisors of
Elections, allow such additional compensation as they may
deem commensurate with such special services rendered.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(Senate Bill 242)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 36 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Fees of
Officers", said new section to be known as Section 27,
to be under the new sub-title "Supplementary Proceed-
ings", and to follow immediately after Section 26 of
said Article, relating to payment of costs in supplemen-
tary proceedings.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 36
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Fees of Officers", said new section to be known as Section
27, to be under the new sub-title "Supplementary Proceed-
ings", to follow immediately after Section 26 of said
Article, and to read as follows:
Supplementary Proceedings
27. (a). In all cases of Supplementary Proceedings
which are referred to a legal commissioner or examiner
for examination of a judgment debtor, the costs to be paid
in advance to the clerks of court for the services rendered
by the said legal commissioner or examiner shall be as
follows:
(1) In all cases where the judgment or decree does not
exceed the sum of $200, the fee shall be $5.
