cration"; Section 628 of said Article, sub-title "Telegraphs
and Telephones—Injury to"; Section 663 of said Article,
sub-title ''Trees, etc. —Destruction of", be and they are
hereby repealed; and that a new Section 119 be and it is
hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place and
stead of the Section 119 so repealed, and to be under the
sub-title "Destroying Property Maliciously", and to read
as follows:
119. Any person who shall wilfully and maliciously
destroy, injure or deface, DEFACE OR MOLEST any
real or personal property of another shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be
subject to imprisonment for a period of not more than one
year or to a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars
($500. 00), or to both imprisonment and fine.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 408
(Senate Bill 114)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
290 of Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Chancery", sub-title "Trustees",
relating to the amount of bond to be given by a trustee
in certain cases, and correcting an error in said section.
WHEREAS, Section 290 of Article 16 of the Annotated
Code relates among other things to the amount of bond to
be given by a trustee in certain cases; and
WHEREAS, This section was amended by Chapter 46 of
the Acts of 1949 to change the amount of bond and also to
make another clarifying change in the language of said
section; and
