"Washington County", sub-title "Wild Animals", as said
section was amended by Chapter 440 of the Laws of 1941,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, and to read as follows:
816A. Any citizen of Washington County, Maryland,
who shall kill or destroy a fox, wildcat, or weasel, [horned
owl, hawk or crow,] within the limits of Washington
County, shall be entitled to the following allowance or
bounty, viz: For each fox, the sum of $2.00; for each
wildcat, the sum of $2.00; for each weasel, the sum of
$.50 [; for each goshawk, sharp shin, and Cooper's hawk,
the sum of $.50; for each horned owl, the sum of $1.00].
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 384
(House Bill 708)
AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 5 of Article 38
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), said
new sub-section to be known as Sub-section (c) of said
section, to follow immediately after Sub-section (b) of
said section, providing that if in any year the money paid
by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Charles County for
the augmentation of the library of said Court is less than
Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) then the County Com-
missioners of Charles County shall pay to said Clerk a
sum sufficient to bring the aggregate sum so paid to the
sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00).
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added
to Section 5 of Article 38 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1951 Edition), said new sub-section to be known as
