and accounted for by the Treasurer of the Town of River-
dale as a separate fund.
The Mayor and Common Council of Riverdale shall by
ordinance allocate out of its general revenue each year a
sufficient amount to provide for the retirement of the obli-
gation authorized by this Act within two years from the
date of the original loan.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 645)
AN ACT authorizing the Board of County Commissioners
of Prince George's County to issue general obligation
bonds of the County in a sum not exceeding Eight Hun-
dred Thousand Dollars ($800,000) for the purpose of
making general improvements in the Maryland-Wash-
ington Metropolitan District of said County, as defined in
this Act; to provide for the repayment of said bonds
and the interest thereon by a general tax levy against all
of the taxable property within said Maryland-Washing-
ton Metropolitan District and, in event of a deficiency, by
an ad valorem tax levy upon all property within the
corporate limits of said County subject to assessment at
the full County taxation rate; and to provide for the
manner of the expenditures of the proceeds of said bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of County Commissioners of
Prince George's County is hereby authorized to issue gen-
eral obligation bonds of said County in an amount not
