1420H of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1943 Edition), and Section 130-18R
of the Montgomery County Code (1950 Edition), and to
follow immediately after Sections 1420G and 130-18A,
respectively, adding an additional area to the Washing-
ton Suburban Sanitary Commission.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to
the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(1943 Edition) and the Montgomery County Code (1950
Edition), being Articles 17 and 16, respectively, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, titles "Prince
George's County" and "Montgomery County", sub-title
"Washington Suburban Sanitary District", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 1420H of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition), and
Section 130-18B of the Montgomery County Code (1950
Edition), and to follow immediately after Sections 1420G
and 130-18A, respectively, and to read as follows:

1420H. (130-18B) (a) The area herein described is
hereby added to the Washington Suburban Sanitary Dis-
trict created by Chapter 122 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1918:

All that area in the Berwyn Election District of Prince
George's County not now included within the existing
boundary of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District-:
EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE AREA INCLUDED
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
GREENBELT AS DESCRIBED IN CHAPTER 583 OF
THE ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF 1949,

(b) The jurisdiction of the Washington Suburban Sani-
tary Commission is hereby extended to include the area
above described and said area shall be subject to all the
rules and regulations of the Commission and all provisions
of law relating to said District including taxes, benefit
assessments and other sums or charges levied by said Com-
mission in other parts of said District.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
