within the above described boundary lines equals three
hundred, forty-four and ninety-three one-hundredths acres
(344. 93 A. ) and includes the entire area of the now exist-
ing corporate area of the Town of Preston. Bearings and
Azimuth are true meridian based on U. S. C. & G. Survey
Station "Johns", located between the Town of Preston and
the Town of Federalsburg.
(b) All existing laws relating to the municipal corpora-
tion known as "Commissioners of Preston'9, and all exist-
ing ordinances passed by the said Commissioners of Pres-
ton are hereby extended to and shall apply to the herein-
above described territory and each and every part thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
