of at least One Hundred Dollars, (or whose spouse is as-
sessed to the above amount), and who on or before the
third Monday in March of each year have paid to the treas-
urer or bailiff of said town a sum of money equal to the
tax rate for that year on One Hundred Dollars, ] and no
others, shall between the hours and at such place as the
Commissioners of said town shall appoint, elect by ballot
from among the residents and qualified voters of said town
who shall be assessed on the tax books thereof with at
least Three Hundred Dollars' worth of property, persons to
serve without compensation as Commissioners of Hender-
son as follows:.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
384 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore
County (1948 Edition), being Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Baltimore County", sub-title "State's Attorney", as said
section was amended by Chapter 124 of the Acts of
1951, increasing the annual salary of the State's Attorney
of Baltimore County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 384 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition), being Article 3
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "State's Attor-
ney", as said section was amended by Chapter 124 of the
Acts of 1951, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
384. The State's Attorney of Baltimore County shall
receive an annual salary of [Six Thousand Dollars
