SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 305
(Senate Bill 501)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
95 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-
title "County Commissioners", as said section was
amended by Chapter 98 of the Acts of 1937, increasing
the compensation of the County Commissioners of Fred-
erick County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 95 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said section
was amended by Chapter 98 of the Acts of 1937, be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments to
read as follows:

95. The next election of County Commissioners of
Frederick County shall be held on Tuesday after the first
Monday in the month of November, in the year [1938],
1954 and on the same day in every fourth year thereafter,
and there shall then be elected three County Commis-
sioners, which number shall thenceforth compose the Board
of County Commissioners; and said Commissioners so
elected shall each receive for the services performed by
them an annual salary of [one thousand five hundred dol-
lars] two thousand seven hundred dollars, payable in equal
monthly installments by the county treasurer of said
county, as full compensation for services and mileage; pro-
vided, however, should any emergency arise necessitating
them or either of them, to go outside Frederick County
to perform any duties pertaining to their office, then each
of them so doing shall be reimbursed from the miscel-
laneous fund of said county for his actual and necessary
expenses.
