Deputy Treasurer and Clerks shall each be paid such
compensation as the said Treasurer, with the approval of
the County Commissioners of said county shall determine.
The County Commissioners shall pay all the office expenses
of the Treasurer and shall have the power, in their discre-
tion, to increase the compensation of the Treasurer and the
employees in his office.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
466, 466A, 466B, 466C and 466D of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Harford County (1942 Edition), being
Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Harford County", sub-title "Taxes and County
Treasurer", said sections having been enacted by Chap-
ter 21 of the Acts of 1949, relating to the preparation of
the budget and the annual levy by the County Commis-
sioners of Harford County and generally providing for
a complete budget system and the fixing of the tax rate
and the date of finality for the preparation of a budget
and the imposition of the tax levy.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 466, 466A, 466B, 466C and 466D of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Harford County (1942 Edition),
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Harford County" sub-title "Taxes and County
Treasurer", said sections having been enacted by Chapter
21 of the Acts of 1949, be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
466. Every county agency shall submit to the County
Commisioners of Harford County on or before [Septem-
ber] October 1st in each year a detailed and itemized esti-
