CHAPTER 290
(Senate Bill 419)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
77 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Charles County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners, " as said section was
amended by Chapter 836 of the Acts of 1943, relating to
the compensation to be paid to the County Commis-
sioners of Charles County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
That Section 77 of Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Charles County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", as said section was
amended by Chapter 836 of the Acts of 1943, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
77. (a). The County Commissioners of Charles County
shall each receive four hundred dollars per year as compen-
sation for their services and shall be allowed no mileage.
(b). The County Commissioners of Charles County shall
each receive two hundred and fifty dollars ($250. 00) per
year as compensation for their services as members of
the County Roads Board for Charles County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1954.

AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 9 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County", sub-title "Roads", said new sections
to be known as Sections 240B, 240C, 240D, 240E, 240F
