SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 47 (k)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition), title "County Commissioners", sub-title "County
Treasurers", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

47.

(k) The County Treasurer of Harford County shall re-
ceive an annual salary of [$3, 600. 00] $5, 000. 00 and this
shall be his sole compensation for services performed by
him of any character whatever, including the issuance of
licenses. The Treasurer shall appoint a Deputy Treasurer,
who shall give such bond to the Treasurer as the said
Treasurer may require, and shall receive an annual salary
as such Deputy Treasurer, to be fixed by the Treasurer and
County Commissioners, payable in monthly installments.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 132 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett County, "
sub-title "Deer Park, " relating to the election of the
common councilmen of Deer Park.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 132 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Garrett County, " sub-title "Deer Park, " be and it is here-
by repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

132. The legal voters of Deer Park who have resided
within the corporate limits thereof for six months next
