MENTS TO THE AUDITORIUM AT THE BEALL HIGH
SCHOOL IN FROSTBURG; A NEW SCHOOL FOR ELE-
MENTARY GRADES AT BOWMAN'S ADDITION;
CAFETERIA ALTERATIONS AT FORT HILL SCHOOL
IN CUMBERLAND; EXPANDING THE NEW SCHOOL
(ELEMENTARY) AT LA VALE TO ACCOMMODATE
JUNIOR HIGH GRADES; A NEW SCHOOL FOR ELE-
MENTARY GRADES AT POTOMAC PARK AND
BOWLING GREEN AREAS.
ANY BALANCE REMAINING AFTER THE ACQUI-
SITION OF THE SITES AND THE CONSTRUCTION,
ERECTION AND EQUIPPING OF ALL THE ABOVE
MENTIONED BUILDINGS SHALL BE PAID TO THE
COUNTY TREASURER OF ALLEGANY COUNTY AND
BE USED FOR THE PAYING OF INTEREST ON OR
REDEEMING ANY OF SAID BONDS.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That until all of the
bonds issued under this Act have matured and been re-
deemed, the County Commissioners of Allegany County
shall annually levy a tax upon the assessable property of
the County sufficient to pay the interest on the bonds out-
standing and the principal of bonds maturing during the
succeeding year.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.
