SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore may, by one ordinance, submit
the whole of this loan to the legal voters of Baltimore City
at one time, or it may, by one or more separate ordinances,
submit a part of said loan to the legal voters of said City
at different times; and any ordinance or ordinances sub-
mitting the whole or any part of this loan to the legal voters
of Baltimore City shall provide for the expenditure of the
proceeds thereof in accordance with the provisions of the
Charter of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and
by the municipal agency designated in the annual Ordi-
nances of Estimates of the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 224
(House Bill 411)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 24 (d) and 24 (i) OF ARTICLE 17 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Clerks of
Courts'*, sub-title "General Duties of Clerks", increasing
the salary of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Harford
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 24 (d) and 24 (i) of Article 17 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Clerks of Courts", sub-title "General Duties of Clerks", be
and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
24.
(d) The Clerks of the Circuit Courts of [Harford, ]
Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties, shall each be entitled
to receive an annual salary of $3, 600.
