approaches thereto, including, but not limited to, the fol-
lowing:

(a) The acquisition, by purchase, lease, gift, condemna-
tion or any other legal means, of land or property, or any
right, interest, franchise, easement or privilege therein, in,
adjoining or in the vicinity of the Patapsco River or its
tributaries, for or in connection with extending, developing
or improving the harbor or port of Baltimore and its facili-
ties and the highways and approaches thereto, and for the
payment of any and all costs and expenses incurred in con-
nection with, or incidental to, the acquisition of said land
or property or any rights or interests therein;

(b) Developing, redeveloping, reconstructing, enlarging,
extending, altering, improving, renovating, modernizing and
equipping existing piers, docks, wharves, warehouses, sheds,
transit sheds, buildings, structures and other facilities or
appurtenances usually and ordinarily used in connection
with the operation of a port, located on, above, under or in
any land or property that is now or which hereafter may be
owned or otherwise held or controlled by the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore or by any private, public or
quasi public corporation, partnership, association, person
or other legal entity;

(c) Establishing, developing, constructing, erecting, in-
stalling or equipping new piers, docks, wharves, ware-
houses, sheds, transit sheds, buildings, structures and other
facilities and appurtenances necessary or useful in connec-
tion with the operation of a modern port, on, above, under
or in any land or property that is now or which hereafter
may be owned or otherwise held or controlled by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore or by any private, public or
quasi public corporation, partnership, association, person or
other legal entity;

(d) Demolishing, removing, relocating, renovating or
altering land, buildings, streets, highways, alleys, utilities
or services, and other structures or improvements, and con-
structing, reconstructing, installing, erecting, widening,
paving or repairing land, buildings, streets, highways,
alleys, utilities or services, and other structures or improve-
ments; all in connection with or incidental to extending,
developing or improving the harbor or port of Baltimore and
its facilities or the highways and approaches thereto; and

(e) Doing any and all things necessary, proper or ex-
pedient in connection with or pertaining to any or all of the
matters or things hereinbefore or hereinafter mentioned.
