SIXTY DAYS. THE SAID BOARD OF LICENSE COM-
MISSIONERS ALSO SHALL APPOINT AN ATTORNEY
TO HANDLE LEGAL MATTERS FOR THE BOARD
AND SET HIS COMPENSATION AT NOT MORE THAN
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500. 00) PER ANNUM.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That notwithstand-
ing any thing to the contrary contained hereinabove in this
Act, the three members first comprising the Board of
License Commissioners of Queen Anne's County shall be
such persons as are designated by the majority of the
members comprising the Queen Anne's Delegation in the
General Assembly of Maryland. After the naming of the
initial members of the Board as provided in this section,
the filling of vacancies and all subsequent new appoint-
ments to the Board of License Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County shall be made by the Board of County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's County as provided in
Section 141 (d) of this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(Senate Bill 381)
AN ACT to add Sections 18 (j-1) and 57 (g-1) to Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-titles "Beer, Wine and
Liquor Licenses" and "Procedure for Issue of Licenses",
said new sections to follow respectively after Sections
18 (j) and 57 (g); to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Section 18 (m) of said Article, sub-title "Beer,
Wine and Liquor Licenses", creating a Class A (Off-
Sale) License for alcoholic beverages in Queen Anne's
County and relating generally to the provisions applic-
able to such license.
