358 LAWS OF MARYLAND [CH. 191

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 141 (d) and, 146 (q-1), 149 (G) be
and they are hereby added to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Alcoholic Bever-
ages", sub-title "Boards of License Commissioners", said
new sections to follow respectively after Sections 141 (c)
and, 146 (q) AND 149 (F) thereof, and all to read as
follows:

141.

(d) (Queen Anne's County. ) In Queen Anne's County,
the Board of County Commissioners shall appoint three
persons, designating one of them as Chairman, who shall
constitute the Board of License Commissioners for said
county.
AT LEAST ONE OF SAID PERSONS SHALL
BE A MEMBER OF THAT POLITICAL PARTY WHICH,
AT THE MOST RECENT GUBERNATORIAL ELEC-
TION, SHALL HAVE RECEIVED THE SECOND HIGH-
EST NUMBER OF VOTES CAST IN QUEEN ANNE'S
COUNTY FOR THE OFFICE OF GOVERNOR. They
shall be appointed for terms of four years each. In the
event that at any time any member of the Board shall
refuse or for any reason be unable to serve, the appoint-
ment for the unexpired term shall be made by said Board
of County Commissioners.

146.

(q-1) (Queen Anne's County. ) In Queen Anne's County
the Chairman of the Board of License Commissioners shall
receive as compensation the sum of Three Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($350. 00) per year. Each of the two other mem-
bers shall receive as compensation the sum of Three Hun-
dred Dollars ($300. 00) per year.

149 (G) THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMIS-
SIONERS OF QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY SHALL AP-
POINT A FULL-TIME INSPECTOR AND FIX HIS
COMPENSATION AT A FIGURE NOT LESS THAN
TWENTY-FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2, 400. 00)
AND NOT MORE THAN THREE THOUSAND DOL-
LARS ($3, 000. 00) PER ANNUM PLUS AN ALLOW-
ANCE FOR MILEAGE NOT TO EXCEED THREE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300. 00) PER ANNUM. THE
SAID INSPECTOR SHALL HAVE THE DUTY OF
VISITING AND INSPECTING EVERY PREMISES IN
QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY LICENSED UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE AT LEAST EVERY
