Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Elections",
sub-title "Election Officials", relating to the compensa-
tion of the Supervisor of Elections in Talbot County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (a) of Section 3 of Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Elec-
tions", sub-title "Election Officials", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
3. (a) Each Supervisor of Elections appointed under
Section 1 (a) or Section 1 (c) of this Article shall receive
an annual salary as follows:
In Allegany County, $900; in Anne Arundel County,
$800; in Baltimore City, $3, 190 until January 1, 1950, and
thereafter $5, 000; in Baltimore County, $1, 800; in Calvert
County, $200; in Caroline County, $300; in Carroll County,
$400; in Cecil County, $300; in Charles County, $250; in
Dorchester County, $400; in Frederick County, $480; in
Garrett County, $300; in Harford County, $400; in How-
ard County, $400; in Kent County, $400; in Montgomery
County, $1, 200; in Prince George's County, $1, 000; in
Queen Anne's County, $300; in St. Mary's County, $250;
in Somerset County, $300; in Talbot County, [$250] $300;
in Washington County, $600; in Wicomico County, $400;
in Worcester County, $300.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
