CHAPTER 170
(Senate Bill 261)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
143B of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County", sub-
title "Installation of Electrical Apparatus and Wiring",
said section having been enacted by Chapter 553 of the
Acts of 1933, providing that the Board of Electrical
Examiners and Supervisors for Calvert County shall
pay over to the County Commissioners of Calvert County
any surplus monies in their possession at the end of the
fiscal year.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 143P of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition); title "Calvert County",
sub-title "Installation of Electrical Apparatus and Wir-
ing", said section having been enacted by Chapter 553 of
the Acts of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
143P. It shall he the duty of the said board before the
first Monday of May of each year to make a report in
writing to the Governor of the State, containing a detailed
statement of the nature of the receipts and manner of
expenditure, and any balance of money remaining at the
end of the fiscal year, after payment of expenses, shall be
[reserved by the treasurer of said board to meet the
expenses for the ensuing year. ] paid over to the County
Commissioners of Calvert County to be applied to the
General Funds of Calvert County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
