tion), being Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County, "
sub-title "Trade Commission, " and to add a new section
to said Article, sub-title "County Commissioners, " said
new section to be known as Section 42A and to follow
immediately after Section 42 thereof, repealing the pro-
visions of said Article pertaining to a trade commission
and providing that the County Commissioners of Balti-
more County may appropriate funds to business, com-
merce or trade associations within Baltimore County
or contiguous thereto.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 414, 415 and 416 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition),
being Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County, " sub-title
"Trade Commission, " be and they are hereby repealed, and
that a new section be and it is hereby added to said Article,
sub-title "County Commissioners", said new section to be
known as Section 42A and to follow immediately after
Section 42 thereof, and to read as follows:
42A. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County
may in their discretion appropriate funds to any business,
commerce or trade association within Baltimore County
or within an area contiguous to Baltimore County when
such appropriation of funds is deemed in the best judg-
ment of the County Commissioners of Baltimore County
to be in the best interests of furthering business, commerce
or trade in Baltimore County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
