1951, Ch. 259—Berwyn Heights

To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in the Town of
Berwyn Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland, an Act
known as Chapter 259 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1951, was submitted to the voters of the Town of Berwyn
Heights for their adoption or rejection, under the provision
of Chapter 259 of the Acts of 1951, said Act being:

"An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Sec-
tion 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, (1943 Edition), being Article 17
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
amending the charter of Berwyn Heights, to provide
for the election of a Chairman of the Board of Com-
missioners and to authorize the payment of certain
sums to each Commissioner to help defray expenses".

AND I DO CERTIFY, that at said election 92 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 259 of the Acts of 1951
and 27 votes were cast against the adoption of the said Act;
and a majority being in favor of the adoption thereof, it
was thereby ratified by the voters of the Town of Berwyn
Heights.
